Plea for Property - Thomas Merritt V

The document gives particulars into arrival of the Merritt brothers Thomas Merritt V and Robert Merritt (Sr.) from Rye, New York.

Provides that Thomas "flew for refuge in 1777" and requests aid and relief for the King. We additionally know that Thomas Merritt received a farm lot of 250 acres on the River Hammon and Robert Thomas received 20 acres in the Township of Conway in 1784.
